MCDONALD's NEW AD CAMPAIGN IS, I kid you not my comrades!:

"A LITTLE CHANGE IS A GOOD THING"

Saw it on the side of a bus.

As a Marxist in America facing a presidential election with a very conservative slightly liberal and a corporate swine too chose from, this is not marketing, this is programing the minority communities who happen to have a proliferation of McDonalds to be appeased with "A little change . . .

Nothing has so ticked off my Marxist sensibilities.

Talk about appeasement
I am not appeased, I want to kick butt

:P I agree completely, the fact that most of McDonald's advertising is marked towards minorities is also interesting <_<

I've noticed that trend as well. In a lot of their recent TV and magazine ads they try to create a street image and most of the actors are minorities. They've also been using a lot of rap music on TV commercials and they have written raps in their magazine ads.

MacDonalds are trying to think that they are there for the youth. Just look at the whole "Im loving it"-campaign. After all, most of the people who eat at MacDonalds in Norway is the youth, and I would suppose its the same thing in other countries as well

Does being there for the youth mean letting them stay in the fast food job for six months and after they got tired of using you, they let you go and hire a new batch of workers to be used again for six months and it goes on and on. That is sheer dehumanization.
