I'm surprised more people aren't falling on the resign side the question. Maybe Al Jazeera isn't as propaganda filled as I thought.

No the world is not as parochial and "black and white" as this. Most Americans are taught to fear the Arab world through the media.....the Arab world is free thinking and quite lucid in the views of events in general.....don't be so quick to think all major news stations are automatically propaganda machines.

Al-jazeera has a long history of supression of its stories and threats against it from within the Arab world, and yet has refused to budge even an inch. Which is a the sign of a truly worthy news service.

Currently in Algiers, power is cut between 5:30 and 6:00 pm to prevent Al-jazeera broadcasts from being viewed, as they have on many occaisions heavily criticised the Algerian regime...

The poll was closed when I got there, but there is no doubt in my mind that he should go.
Regardless of who ordered it to happen, or wether it was even ordered, Rumsfeld is in charge of them, so at the end of the day he is responsible.
If this were to happen in a decent country he would have been escorted out of his office.

Does anyone know of a way to watch Al Jazeera online for free. I used to watch it on wwitv.com but it doesnt work anymore.
