Id like to ask how many people think that Labour is a socialist goverment/party. I totally disagree with them if they call themselves socialists. For a number of reasons.
1, Thier or at least the Prime ministers, abandonment of a relationship with the trade unions, Blair is commented at calling the striking rail workers "wreckers".
2, Tony Blairs support of a foriegn millionaire in the buying of another steel plant which would further damage the British Steel economy.
3, The goverment unwillingness to act on large companies monopoly over the markets.
4, Their unwillingness to act on these corporate monsters for thier treatment of producers e.g supermarkets treatment on farmers.
5, The Uk's close alliegance with the right wing, American goverment. (For example at a confrence held by G.W Bush his reaction to bush saying "It is true that America has no greater friend than Great Britian", really pissed me off, thats just to covey mass hysteria)
p.s What the fuck is it with the Americans at these confrences? THe stand up and start clapping at the end of every statement.)
