This is not the case. And its IGNORANCE at its finest!

For every city in the USA almost, there is a ghetto. America is not the cake eating wonderland you envision from your FOX tv depictions or your expeiriance in our tourist attractions, and it offends me to see fellow comrades forget that there is a struggle in America too.

Why is this in "Opposing Ideologies" ? I agree with your general point however, it's a generalization, which can apply too a lot of nations, just not America. I think it's okay too be critical of some aspects of American culture, it's hypocritical nature, like for instance, that whole Janet Jackson breast situation. However, we should be generalisation the American population as a whole in a negative way, Americans are no less deserving of generalisations than anyone else. Attack the policies of a nation, not the general populace of a nation.

There is a generalisation of Australians also, where I am from, as crocodile fighters who take kangaroos too work, which is true by the way :)

As with generalizing Americans into redneck, stupid, racist, consumers, you also generalize all non-marxists under the banner 'capitalists'. In reality there is just as many differences between non-marxist groups as there is between non-marxist and marxist ideologies.
