Yeah, it was from that site (http://www.zdlr.net) that I learned why Zack left Rage against the Machine, and really undestood his reasons. I can't wait for his solo album to leave Audioslave in the dust.

I'm choked about how long this album is taking.

Maybe he just needed time to work on it. I try to think of it from his perspective and not be impatient for it. I kinda think of it the same way Trinity thought of Morpheus, he'll release it when he's ready.

From the website linked uptop.
Former RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE frontman Zack de la Rocha's long-promised debut solo album appears to be in limbo, according to project collaborator DJ Shadow. "After our session . . . Zack was supposed to finish the rest of the album with another producer," Shadow explains in a post on his official web site. "He apparently never showed up to those sessions . . . Why? No one seems to know."
As previously reported, De La Rocha spent several years working the much-anticipated solo album that is expected to surface through the Epic label. The singer, who left RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE in October 2000, has been collaborating with a number of artists on various songs that are set to surface on the upcoming CD, including those with NINE INCH NAILS' Trent Reznor, ROOTS' ?uestlove, THE GORILLAZ's Dan the Automator, and CYPRESS HILL's DJ Muggs.
[edit: someone move this to websites]
I LOVE RATM, I just hate the fact that I can never see them live. They are my favorite group ever!
Anyway, I have heard his song "March of death" and the lyrics are brilliant!
I just think ratm are better suited to his vocal style, and Tom Morello is a genius both on the guiar, and with his politics.
