J. Kerry has said that he would like to include the Republican Senator John Macaine in his government if Kerry wins office this November!

This was in todays Guardian newspaper.

I think this just shows how right wing and utterly opportunistic Kerry is and that leftists should ignore his campaign and NOT vote for this janus faced liar come the 'elections'.

Kerry voted for the following:

*Patroit Act.

*War on Afghanistan.

*war on Iraq.

*Bushe's 'educational reform policy'.

and a whole host of other right-wing neo-con. policies.

Look at the current US government. IT already has a Democrat in Bushe's cabinet, Norman Minenta the US transportation minister!

People will be fooling only themselves if they think the Democrats will have ANY real difference in relation to the current Bush regime.

The US system, with its large donations and corporate sponsership of candidates and its undemocratic 'electoral college' is designed to keep out any radical alternative and the views of the majority of the US people.

Bush is a right wing rich corporate asshole, but then again so is Kerry. At least Bush does not pretend to be some social reformer and have a 'left of centre' platform, something Kerry says during the campaign but in office will be just as right wing and militaristic.

Yet if Kerry does win, all the short sighted liberals, reformists and social democrats will fail to put up and opposition to him simply because he is a 'Democrat' and that if they oppose him in office they 'could let the Republicans back in' bullshit that we have all heard before. This will give Kerry more room to put forward a right wing programme than any Republican president could only dream of.

If you have to vote, although if I were an American I wouldn't myself, then at least the likes of Nader are 'a lesser evil'.
