inspired i suppose would be the appropriate word. this album is basically a compilation of communist rhetoric. i found it among my daddy's tapes when i was organizing the shelves. the track list is as follows:

1. the internationale
2. i dreamed i saw phil ochs last night
3. the marching song of the covert battalions
4. blake's jerusalem
5. nicaragua nicaraguita
6. the red flag
7. my youngest son came home today

this is such music. you feel everything, man, everything. you feel pride and you feel capable and you feel sorrow and outrage and just about anything else you can feel except for those nasty ones like jealousy and vengefulness. billy bragg is a true poet and just listening to him gives me a sense that he's there for you and me, unwavering.
i'm utterly charmed. does anyone else have this album or know of the songs i speak of?
