Hey I was wondering if any members got tickets this year. I think it would be a nice idea to maybe arange a Ch-lives meet up at the stone circle. Not a bad line up either, pitry that they announced Oasis and Prince etc...I love not knowiong until the you arrive. The fun of finding out Clapton will be there is gone to. Anyone?

All the tickets sold out months ago...

Leeds and Reading are still booking adn the line up isnt that bad...

Why is it that every year its these festivals final one, and then they always have them again...They said last year that there would be no leeds this year, and the said it the year before that...not that im complaining...unfortuantly i cant go this year....:(

It's not my type of thing but my old friend from Korea is going - his name's Roy and he's British, so he's going back home. He goes every year.

I have family who work in areas that get festival information....only in retail but thety get asked to put up posters etc. Fax came through saying Clapton. Although it may be another Glasto rumour;) gotta love em though, best bit is arriving and seeing who is really playing.

They often say that festivals are the last because getting a permit is hard. Glasto had to fight crime and free-riders...enter superfence and the pollution....big anti pissing in streams campaign... They seem to have cracked it.

Leeds could do with keeping crime and vandalism down to further the future of the festival, although I guews I will always be a Glastonbury guy.

Getting a ticket was a pain...my mate was trying to get them for us but with little succsess (phone and internet) up untill the Friday morning. Eventually another friend of mine found an alternative link (they'd put up another server or something) and that got us tickets straight away, we got confirmation at about 11 on the Friday morning...
I know they were trying to cut down on touts and stuff but I can't help feeling they've went a bit overkill, a girl I know spent 22 hours solid online and still didn't get tickets, even when using the 'magic' ink...
