I was wondering if anybody in Dublin attended her lecture at the DCU yesterday. I didn't realise that she was going to be there and only heard about it afterwards. If anybody was there could they post any thing of interest in her speech.

It's really pissing me off because my school is right beside the DCU and I would have went to it had I known it was on.

The only problem being that it wasn't announced anywhere. I've been searching all day to see was there any information posted anywhere and there's none. if you are so great at finding out about these events, you find something on it then.

And BTW you cannot even comprehend how pissed I am. My best friend found out about about an hour before it started and forgot to tell me. DAMN I HATE THAT BASTARD

What was the lecture about? Was it about socialism, or pediatrics? I thought she was a doctor . . .

In would have jumped on a plane for that.

Can you contact the university and see what organization is malking the tour possible? Perhaps we could see what her speaking schedule is.

I'm guessing she spoke in English. Have we found a successor to Fidel perhaps??????

One of my neighbours works in the University and she said she'll find out as much about the lecture as possible and as far as I know the lecture was on a combination of things: her father, politics, healthcare, Cuba etc.

I know that she is very close to Fidel but I don't think she will become a successor to him.

I would guess she spoke in English unless the whole of Ireland now speaks Spanish.

I think she is doing a tour of Ireland so you might still catch her somewhere. I know she'll definately be in Galway on March 20th. If you have the time you could go see her there.
