Your thoughts on the war in Nepal

I am just wondering what everyone thinks about the war in Nepal and what you think should be done there.

I suport the battle agaisnt monarchy, adna a replacement of communist rule. The current king has banned many democratic elements.

although they are maoist, it will be a positive move, and the workers will gain a lot, and the whole revolution should serve as an example to the whole region.

unfortunately, these maoists will probably prove to be as corrupt as other pseudo-communists in the region. In the state of West Bengal (India) the communists have held the majority numerous times over the last 3 decades, yet all they did was purchase large mansions with state money. This is probably what will happen in Nepal. I know this because I lived there once.

South-East Asian communists have yet to prove that they can rule without corruption.
