eh.....no love lost, Michael Moore is an ignorant racist who just wants better healthcare and cheaper education for Americans (an admirable goal, but most certainly DOES NOT qualify him to speak on issues of world politics and cultural happenings which he has absolutely no idea about)....the sad thing is that because alot of other cretins watched his stuff and bought his DVDs and books, he thinks he's on to a winner.....when its all complete bullshit!

i was watching the cannes film festival on tv last night, michael moore won the golden palm. i guess not many people here like moore, but i enjoy his work and am glad to see he is getting the recognition he deserves.

Firstly, if you read Downsize This, you'd know that he advocates the killing of German tourists by Floridians.

And he supported General Clark for president, after explaining that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party have similar, right-wing agendas.

So he's not only a hypocrite, but he's also a reformist.

Read the first few chapters of "Dude where's my country" (the first few chpaters of this are the extent of my reading of his "work" *ahem* and quite too much!)

it goes something along the lines of "blah blah blah, they let Bin Laden's family just leave the country to escape persecution! They didn't arrest them or interrogate them, they just let them go" then a little further on "Saudis are the epitomey of evil, they're all terrorists" or something to the same affect.....you tell me if you can't see the racist connotations in that

the trouble with micheal moore is that as the english would say hes all mouth and no trousers. i very much doubt he'd fight for his beliefs whether good or bad and at the slightest mention of anything he'd probably be on a plane to somewhere he'd class as safe.
