This is from the Summit of the Americas protest in Quebec.

Actually we have Radical Cheerleaders at all our local protests too, i love the idea although some people hate it because they feel it's silly i think it really lightens the mood and gets people open to new ideas.

I hated the Reese Witherspoon movie "Red White & Blonde" because it was so petty, and purposefully so, with so many corporations really limiting individual voice, Jimmie Stewart's movies would prob. not be made today by a large studio.

Interesting case in point, there are cheerleaders used in the film, but even more interesting, Elle, the lead character wears a PINK CHE GUEVARA beret when she tries to launch a PEOPLE BACKED Initiative. Of course the whole idea is marked down in drivel, and for good reason, not the kind of imagery Madison avenue wants out there.

Also, pictures of her wearing that beret are not really available on line, and the entire scene was downplayed by the studio, tells me they're running scared, and why, because CIVIL PARTICIPATION IS ON THE RISE! THIS IS A GOOD SIGN, her pink Che Beret reminded me of last month's women's march on Washington and last weeks actions towards breast cancer which are pointing more and more towards chemical companies.

Who says someone can't be femme and politically astute :P Maybe we should get a more femme clickable smile, possible one with a pink Che beret, with red star, no copyright, they made her invert her red star in the movie!
