It is stupid to imply that Saddam would have left on his own, but what really pisses alot of people off about Iraq, is more so the grounds onwhich it was done then any thing else. Cause they talked more about terrorists and WMD's more so then about Saddam's opression of the people which is the real problem at hand. But the people were presented secondary to the American interests it seemed. Because the real motivation was saddam and the terrorist, saddam and the bombs, thats what was said more then any thing, and alot of people are thinking, "well if Iraq then where else next?" The standards are vague.
So theres some insight for you :)
It was the way they went about doing it more then any thing, that seemed imperialistic because most people do not want Saddam to be in power AT ALL, but they also dont want america to use Iraq as a whore for american interests and on the faulty grounds of justification for this invasion, it makes alot of people very weary.
I think that girl was a very naive and bad representation of the Anti-War movement, as much as you would like to sum all the people all over the world, which is most of them, who are against the war, into this speechless "chirping bird". There are alot of people in Iraq who dont even care if it is the Americans, becasue they are so greatful to have Saddam out of power, and that is why the world feels the need to watch out for them.
