Macedonian police gunned down seven innocent immigrants, then claimed they were terrorists, in a killing staged to impress the United States, authorities said Friday.

Speaking after a two-year investigation, a police spokeswoman, Mirjana Konteska told reporters that six people, including three former police commanders, two special police officers and a businessman, have been charged by police with murder.

"That was an act of a sick mind," Konteska said. "They ... ordered the brutal murder of the seven Pakistani men."

Konteska said the killings were an attempt to "present themselves as participants in the war against terrorism and demonstrate Macedonia's commitment to the war on terror."

well it is true that it was all staged.They killed them just to get a story to talk about.I wasn't really that much to impress the USA as to impress the people in the country and to prove them that they could take actions against some kind of "threat".The pakistans were some workers who were supposed to go and work in Greece but that was their luck.And the whole thing right now where the government is accusing Ljuben Boskovski is just one big propaganda.The fact that the new president was elected 2 days ago and he was the head of the party(SDSM) and the prime minister who was in power and still is after he is elected,they are doing all this to make the opposing party VMRO-DPMNE look very bad.They are trying to put in prison every leader from VMRO or take them to Hag so they can win the next elections and so on and so on.They are in coalition with the Albanians who have a big interest in the country and SDSM is willing to give anything to them because it's under pressure from the USA(it is exactly the same situation going on in Serbia).Anyhow everything is already known how it's going to finish in the next 10 years but it's pretty sad that no one can do anything about it.
