What i always wanted to know about Che is a special interest i have about his family life. Was he a solicitous family father, a solicitous husband who loved his family very much? Or was he rather a womans-guy who flirted and was watching other womans?
I dont want to offend any Che Fan. I am a very very big Che fan too and i am watching at him with my deepest respect. But that is something i want to know, because i am a person who love his family a lot and i would have even more respect for our friend Che if he was a family carying human too.
Thanks for your answers....
i read somewhere that he cared for his family more than anyhting else

He had little time for family, but when he found it, usually on sunday afternoons, he was a loving father and caring husband. He even found time for his first child, born to Hilda.

Che was dedicated to Cuba, and spent a lot of his time working. What ever time he could he find he would dedicate to his family but he also did a lot of volunteer work and overtime. He had to priortise but he was a very loving father.

In the bio I read about Che it said he was a good family man although he didn't have much time for them. But I remember when Che would go to other countries and speak and he would go to the parties or whatever they had to welcome him and women would try and flirt with him but he wouldn't have any of it.
This is one of the things that I would like to know about him too. Just to create a whole picture of him. I mean, the guy couldn't be great and perfect all the time right? I read somewhere that he was having afairs all around the globe when he was travelling to Russia and so on. Anyone know something about that?
An other thing I would really like to know is, did he or did he not order his men to torture or to misbehave towards prisoners. And did he have an open mind towards people who tought differently or did he lock them up? Tell me something about that if you know something, please.
Altough this all must seem really negative to a lot of you out here, I want to stress out that I don't think of him this way. I am just learning about him. And most of the books I read are so positive about him. Almost glorifying him. Making him a saint. I find it hard to believe that he was completely perfect all the time. The reason why I ask these negative things about him, is just to get a good image of him. Hope you understand.

If you read Anderson's book , I think it gives a pretty good idea about his life without glossing over his faults.

yea. He loved his children very much. He thought about them when he was working in the cane fields, when he was organizing tactics, everything. They were his deepest concern. He felt he was making their future better.

Thank you for your answer. Do any of you have more good tips on reading material about Che? The Anderson-book was mentioned. Can you please give me the title and first name of the writer?
Thanx again!

Che definetly enjoyed his family life, look at all the children he had. But he was really married to the Revolution and its cause.
