The World says no to the Bush agenda! Throughout the world hundreds of thousands will once again take to the streets, this time to protest the gross misuse of power by the rogue regime in the US in its handling of world affairs.

Join with us in this virtual march and send a message to the rogue regime that you do not support their stance on Iraq, the so called war on terrorism, environmental and defence issues.

Please do sign up to join in the virtual march by visiting http://www.livemarch.com/marchHome.jsp?marchID=19, click on the "Join this live march" button, then the "Sign up now" button and fill in your details.

You'll receive reminders about the protest, and shortly before the virtual march begins you'll receive an email with a suggested message to send together with the email, fax and phone numbers and web address of the White House.

No problem Dorri, hopefully we can keep the White House busy for an hour or so - maybe longer if we can get enough people involved.

Here are a few more details for everyone here about the protest:

The Virtual march will begin at 2PM US Central Standard time, 7PM UK time on Sunday 29th August. However, please register as soon as possible to take part at http://www.livemarch.com/marchHome.jsp?marchID=19

On the day you'll receive an email with instructions on how to proceed together with a suggested message to the madman squatting in the White House. Please keep this email to hand.

At the latest, please rally at http://www.livemarch.com/marchHome.jsp?marchID=19 10 minutes before the protest begins.

When the countdown clocks hits 0:0:0 start sending those emails and faxes. Call the White House and visit the website!

Here's an update for everyone here about the online march on the White House being planned for the 29th August. (For more information please see http://geocities.com/tellbushtheworldsaysno)

In just over 2 weeks there are over 70 people registered to join with us in the virtual march on the White House - that really is very good considering there are just over 3 months still left to go until the protest begins! We estimate that the number of people involved will reach the mid 400 mark by the time the action begins - though obviously we hope that more will register to join before then.

There has been some excellent feedback about this action from around the world, many people have said they are registering closer to the time - some people are not registering at all to join, however we would ask that those wishing to join with us do register as a press release will be sent out detailing the action, and the numbers of people who are involved - and if everyone taking part isn't registered the media will not get an accurate picture of the numbers involved.

People from around the world are registering to take part to tell the rogue regime in Washington that they do not support their agenda - so please do register to take part at http://www.livemarch.com/marchHome.jsp?marchID=19 - just click on the "Join this Live March" button, then on "sign up now" and enter your details.

We've also received several kind offers to help in spreading the word - there have now been 2 Green Party offices in England who have said they will send out details of the protest in their next newsletter, a local trade union office is sending out a copy of the leaflet which can be downloaded from the site (http://geocities.com/tellbushtheworldsaysno) to all its members, a California based vigil group is also sending out details of the action in its newsletter and there are at the moment around 15 websites which now have links to the "tell Bush the world says no" campaign. (You can also find a banner at the tell Bush the world says no website to add to your website)
And there is more to come yet!

So, please help us to spread the word about this action - word of mouth is a very good way of letting others know about it, also, you can use the "Tell a Friend about this site" button at http://geocities.com/tellbushtheworldsaysno. And as previously mentioned there is a leaflet which can be downloaded and printed off (I got a very good reaction after I'd printed out well over 100 leaflets and took them around my local town centre- but they didn't half use up some ink!), as well as the banner which can be added to your site!

If you've helped out in some way, or a group/organisation has helped to spread the word about this protest, then please use the feedback form at the "Tell Bush the world says no" website, and we'll add a link to your site with the others who have assisted in some way already listed there.
