Before i get to the main point of this article i want to talk about something called the circular flow of income in an economy, in this flow, injections into an economy are made by spending on national goods and services, and fluctuations are made when people save their money or spend it on foreign products. Injections mean revenue for the government, because a major source of income for it is the taxation of profits of national firms, meaning, every time you buy an American product, you strengthen the government, giving it money to finance various forms of oppression. But when you buy a foreign product, you in effect put money out of the economy that will not reach the government and therefore reducing the funds available to strengthen its already hyperpowerful self. And so a powerful form of social protest has been available all along, buying non-American products to weaken the American government, its this same process that organisations like the WTO and IMF use to weaken countries in Africa, Latin America, and Asia, and now we have an opportunity to use this same effect against the tyrant itself. If you live within the US it would be a matter of choosing foreign products instead of American ones. Want something electronic? Buy something Japanese. Feel like reading? Buy a book that is published by a British company (most of them are much smarter than American writers anyway, also, many American writers publish their books through Brit firms), Music? just buy bands that are signed with Sony, Rage Against The Machine is among them, or other Japanese firms. If your outside the US it will simply be a matter of choosing to consume goods and services from your own country over those of your own country over American products (besides, its time to make some measures like this, especially at time when most of the Top-10 movies in the UK are American  ).
It has already been seen that listening to music from your own country instead of American imports bothers the American music industry, in Japan and Korea, many people listen to music from their own local talents, MTV Asia caught onto this and capitalised on it by making a show for Japanese/Korean videos, I suppose they just couldn't stand that Asian youths were enjoying music without the big all-powerful MTV being involved.
Through this action you will not only be decreasing the revenue flowing into the US government but freeing yourself from the propaganda that comes with American media and literature. Tired of seeing jokes about Europe, the Middle East or Asians in something you paid for? Just don't buy them anymore.
