With the huge lack of places in Universities in Britain at the moment I was wondering if Cuba still takes in people to study in their medical schools and universities?
I know they used to take in upto 2000+ people every year but I was wondering if they still do and how you can get a place?
Any infomation anyone has would be welcome.

Nirvana,
It is true that thousands of places at Cuban Universities are offered free of charge to foreign students. However, I believe that places fill up fast and mostly with those from highly impoverished nations whom do not have a capability to attend universities in their homeland.
Unless you were truely despirate and had no hope of attending a UK university due to costs, I would not try to gain access to a Cuban university, I would rather leave a place for someone who may likely need the free education and degree much more than yourself.
