I agree, this was the cover of their first album. Are they really going to make a new album together or is this a joke?

Erm, when I said future album cover I meant the picture that would later become the cover. It's an expression used when referring to things that would serve a new purpose in the present, or in their time, the future, which would now be the past. I'm sorry if I confused anyone, it certainly wasn't my intention.
Of course they're not making a new album.

Yes we know it's a Rage album, that was only a small part ot the tread's point when I started it, the implied part. Doesen't anybody want to talk about how this image would later become the album cover?

This image inspires so many thoughts. It should inspire everyone in the sense that, he felt so strongly about the persecution, that he set fire to himself in protest. And he had every right to feel strongly. It is a powerful image, a man dying before our eyes, for his cause. Of course it would become an album for a leftist band in the future. I can't believe Che didn't end up on an RATM cover, although he has been marketed enough since 1967. I am sure they thought about it. I like this, find more things like this, Kurai.

I found out this information about it "The Monk's name is Thich Quang Duc, an elderly Buddhist monk, immolating himself on a main intersection in Saigon, Vietnam on June 11, 1963 to protest the rule of Ngo Dinh Diem, the American backed leader of Vietnam who was leading an anti-Buddhist campaign in southern Vietnam. This action was witnessed and filmed by many members of the American media and led to the end of the Diem rule in Vietnam. This photo won the 1963 Pulitzer Prize."
It was probably , with it, being their first album, a cover which would get the attention of many people just by looking at it and also, somewhat, representing the fight against oppression that they would talk about in their lyrics
