I recently picked up a local FREE cultural newspaper and a CD fell on the ground. I looked at it and I saw a big AOL insigna.

Recently, AOL Canada released the French version of their program in hope of taking the Québec province ISP market by storm.

These CDs are everywhere. I've received one by the mail. I got one in a normal newspaper and now they give it away in cultural magazines.

I found that sick and decided to pick up all the Cds off the magazines. Result: I have now more than 35 copies of the AOL propaganda CD.

I plan on getting a whole lot more and maybe do an art creation with them and then send a photo to ADBusters.

I suggest you do the same. It's not even stealing or vandalism since they give it away for free.

You're just gonna help prevent people of getting that corporate-filled program and prevent those wealthy bastards of getting some more dough from normal Joes.

http://www.nomoreaolcds.com is collecting AOL CDs (scratched so they don't work) then delivering them back to AOL infront of the press to make a point about junk mail being a nuisance and causing pollution.

Get a whole bunch of them and glue them to the walls of a super-corporate place, like McDonald's or something.

I'm not sure the nomoreaol thing would work, because everyone already knows there's junk mail and no matter how much people hate it, it's profitable for AOL to do that and so they'll keep doing it.
