This picture was printed in yesterdays Daily Mirror. It originally came from the American Leftist website and is a mosaic of U.S. soldiers who have died in Iraq.
The full sized picture can be seen here ---> Clicky (http://photomatt.net/dropbox/2004/04/bush-large.jpg)

That's a very impressive picture, I wonder how long it took the artist to position the pictures in just the right way.

The picture is really great. But i wonder what the picture really represent. Is the picture done to honor Bush or to mock him for being the reason behind why these soldiers die?

amazing piece of work, interesting find I'd say. As for the mocking vs. praising aspect, i'd say to me..it's a mockery, it's like all these people die to represent and preserve his own personal image...sounds right to me.

Pictures are repeated numerous times, if you look carefully.

I noticed that BOE...
but then i figured they had to do it to actually get it to look like bush w/the shades involved...still impressive

They just lightened and darkened pictures in photoshop to get that effect. There aren't nearly enough casualties as of now to make a picture that big, which is why it was neccessary to repeat them. By my count, there are 1410 (I may be off by a few) pictures, which is about double the amount of casualties as of now, and more than double the casualties from when that picture was made.

It was not done by hand, there are professional programs to do it.

I have a computer program that lets you take one picture, and it will make it out of many other pictures, exactly like that. I'be betting they cheated that way.

nearly 800 americans have died in this war. I don't know how old this post is, but it saddens me to know that the picture could now have more than enough pictures of the dead. Copy this picture, and send it to all in your addressbook and ask them to e-mail it on. Because this picture is very moving. Just zoom in on all those happy faces. and ponder them.
