I already know all the horrible things the government has done in the United States because I live here, however, I know very little about Canada, Britain, and Australlia. Please tell me things that they have done so that I know that I don't live in the ONLY hellhole on this planet. Just give me some brief facts about your own corrupt governments.

I live in Scotland.
I don't consider it a hell hole nor the USA
There is probably more nice people than bad everywhere but I hate capitalism and what it does to people and how it makes life a living hell for many people and spreads misery everywhere.
However nil desperandum.
Scotland is governed by New Labour and is essentially at least at the moment part of the UK.
Scotland is a rich country compared with the third world but still class division is rampant with homelessness
and widespread unemployment.
Scotland became anglified and is quite dull in that respect. There is a large ammount of heavy drinking.
The globalisation process which seems to make everyone american has landed here and everything american is sickenly cool among many youth. The socialist party gets about 5% of the vote and the nationalists seem to be popular among left wing youth.
The ex leader was anti war, thats why many of us think he was ditched, he resigned for personal reasons.
The New labour party have sunk to an all time low in banana skins and I think they will lose seats to the nationalists. The reaction to sept 11, in most of my hang outs was a bit shocking. When bush said you are either with us or against us. the answer was with the terrorists. Mind you our country is the most densly packed collection of Us military bases in the world.
There is usually thousands at our demonstrations at
the main one,Faslane a nuclear sub base.
UK imperialism is just as bad as US what 'our' companies do abroad is nothing short of extremely immoral.
The problem of the left is one of routinism, we need to break into alt media badly. the left also uses the web dismally. This bb is a healthy exception.

By saying that, "I Live in a Hell-Hole..." I am refering to my personal state in the country right now. I do understand that not everyone in this country thinks that their life is going badly. It is mainly because of my racial heratige and political beliefs at such a time when nationalism seem to run rampantly through the streets. It's already reminding me of World War Two, when flags draped every corner of Berlin. Well.. Just more ramblings from me..
