For me CHE has impacted my life in a good way. He is (in my opinion) a symbol of power, rebellion, strenth, almost a religon. When I think about him i get a felling of impowerment (if that is a word) and he has taught me to belive in my self and stand for what is right and also to fight against capitaliza in all it's forms.

That’s splendid, I am in high spirits for you, because of the "impact" that Che had on yourself and many more like yourself.
Try not to look at it in a "religious" sense, though.
Che was the first "communist" whom I read about…so I presume I could say, Che got me interested in the "communist" standpoint insofar.
But then again he didn’t...material conditions.

I was already a Communist before i knew who Che Guevara was, and he was an epitome of courage, bravery and communism.
I do not see him as some demi-god or icon, but as a human who knew what was right and fought for that.

El Che made me realise that Im not a peruano or argentino, Im a Latino.
All ofthe Latin American nations should get their shit together as in not fighting amongst themselves, and then get those fucking Americans and Europeans who are sucking us dry out!

The honest truth.
Che had a large impact on my life, but really an odd way.
Only a short while ago, I had no idea who the man was, what he did, or what he stood for, you just don't find that here. Anyway, I awoke one morning running on impulse, got in my car and ended up at a bookstore. I walked in, and there it was on display, the book of the Motorcycle diaries. I started digesting information and life's perspective soon seemed to change for me. I was inspiried by Che. I'm still running on this impulse, realizing that I have somthing much bigger to do than I had ever planned before. Che brought out the rebellious part of me, an inner strength and a new type of compassion. He made me realize how much learning saves us as well as reminded me of things that do matter in my life. I don't know how or why I ended up at that bookstore, but it was definatly one of the best things that has happend to me. So many thing in life made a bit more sense, who I was, and what I wished to stand for, then helped me find the strength to stick with my beliefs. Now I am here, on impulse, and I'm thankful for this too.

Che had no meening for me for a large part of my life. He was just a cool t-shirt. After i asked my friend who this person was, i started to do some research on him, and since then my life has changed very much, i consider my self a better person when i have someone like him to guide me.
Che is to me not only a man, but a figure or a statemend that sais that none can ever control me, take atvantage of me og mistread me. I bealive in Che because he stands for bealiving in your self and never stop fighting for your costs.
By the way, i am new here and am very glad to a part of this community now. Hopefully everyone aggrees with me.

Made me consider the politics, and the doings of others around me. Made me consider the left as much more than democrats. Made me see Cuba in a whole new light. Made me respect a man who deserves to be respected.

Che made me proud to be a member of the human race.
I am not like the rest of you. I am not a communist, and have no plan to become one. I'm not a capatilist, and I'm certainly not an anarchist. At this point I'm adrift in the world, looking for a place to call home. I feel Che must have felt the same way; drifting around Argentina, then South America, and finally ending up in Cuba, only to go to places like Congo, and then eventually back to Bolivia.
Che made me proud to be a human, because for some many centuries, humans have been defined for the worst they have to offer. War. Poverty. Abuse. Torture. Greed. Hate. Che stands as a symbol for me; a symbol of a man who knew what he wanted, and fought (to the death) in an effort to make his dreams a reality.
The fact that Che was in opposition to the strongest nation on the planet, and was still unwaivering in his quest for the "ideal man" gives me great hope that when I, one day, find what I am looking for, I will be able to follow it through to the very end.

I have travelled a lot in Central America since my early 20's and reading his writings and bios, makes me more active when I travel down there. Not so much politically active but I've helped with schools and other community projects. So I guess Che made me get off my ass and instead of being a stupid tourist hitting the typical spots , I've seen the 'real' latin america ,thanks to him.

Che has made me look and search the events happening in the world and how these can have an impact on my life. I now have a voice and an opinion. He has been a symbol of courage and honor in my life. I understand now that revolution is neccessary to defeat the beast of imperialism. and thanks to Ernesto I live by the motto: "Hasta la victoria siempre, Patria o muerte!!!!!!!!!"
