I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or listens to any of the following bands or artists

- Chris Thomas King

- Aiko

- Mr. Children

- G-Love and Special Sauce

- The Reverend Horton Heat

- Nitin Sawhney

- Cake

I like all of the above, so yeah just wondering if other people are into the same stuff...

I'm familiar with the Rev's music. I like it. I've heard of Cake but wouldn't know a song of theirs if I heard it. The ret I'm not at all familiar with.

I'm not all that into them, but Reverend Horton Heat are huge around here. I think the same goes for G-Love and Special Sauce, I saw them at Bumbershoot last year. I guess I'm a bit indifferent to that stuff.

I have heard that Cake's songs are about serious political issues. For example, I heard that "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" (I think that is what it is called) is about globalization. Can anyone confirm that?

Cake is musically decent, too... by the way.
