Alright i have to points to make(not points, not oppions but things)

1. Do u think che accesories are ok if u are a fan of che's and believe what he did was good for this world.

2. Do u think its right to buy che items if u know nothing about him but know who he is.

Awnsers those but this is my 2 cents.

Everyone now adays is complaining that Che Memorbelia is a bad thing and it is degradin to che. I see it as a very good thing. Think about it for a moment. Che memorbeila, accesories etc. is what has kept our Hero "El Che" Alive these past 40 years. People see him everywhere, shirts, pins, patches, posters, etc. So people are tempted to do a little research on him. Thats how i was lead to be a che fan. My brother bought his shirt, i was told the basics about him and i instantly wanted to no more. If it wasnt for memorbilia most people would not no more about him. Its like for example i know this has nothing to do with it but

William Wallace- a great scottish warrior who won scottlands independance.

Now, like the majority of the world does not know about him. But if his face was posted on every poster, shirt, keychain etc. from here to Timbucktwo, He would be a great hero to a more larger population in the world 2 day. now i know im comparing 40 years to 1000 years. But u know what i mean its the items that have taught us. And i only where stuff that is not degrading. My sis had a pin of che. She offered it to me, I was about to take it but i saw a Cannibas leaf on his head and i instantly turned it down.

So its ur oppinon about this kinda stuff

but i think che memerobilia has gotten ches publicity to where it is today

I can understand ppl wanting to express themselves and their beliefs by wearing a t or hat or pin or whatever. But I think we have to look at a couple of different things....
1) Why are they wearing it...fashion? expression?
2) Who is manufacturing and distributing the product? Is it some U$ company just trying to profit from yet another death?
3) Is wearing it turning Che into more of a fashion statement than a political one? Are ppl ignoring what he stood for just to look "cool?" I guess that's the same as 1).

There's this store on Queen St. in Toronto that sells Che purses...what the hell? Plus they're like $50 Cdn. That's just ignorant. I hope that the stupid girls who own such purses get *****-slapped.

I think of it this way...would Che have worn a Marx t-shirt?

Hmmm......I dont think Che would have like being a fashion object....AND I dont think people shold wear Che things IF THEY DONT KNOW WHO HE IS
But i got a che shirt that my friend MADE for me so nobody got money for it and my pins I bought from the commie partie in my town :P

But yeah maybe his image is keeping him alive..but it is STUPID to wear someones face on your shirt if you dont know who they are.

peace out :D

i dont like people, who know nothing about che, wearing his image
I dont wear his image, but i have nothing against people who know of che wearing his image

it always seems contradictory to me - supporting socialism/communsim whilst funding capitalism!

If i were to buy a t-shirt or wahtever of his, it would most liekly be off this site, or another like this - were the items are made in cuba

Havn't bought my Che shirts from high-street retailers or nothing, bought a couple from here actually, and one from Cuba-Connect.

I wear a pin from the 1950's with an image of Fidel engraved on it which I got given as a present.

I totally agree with you.

Put Che's face on T shirt is a capitalist merchandising in order to discredit people who share the Guevara's thougts.

Thats true but if u live in a small town (well normal size bigger canadian city) and threes no commie shops (theres one called vintage vinyal but its more of a retro hippy shop) Im not going to drive like 9 hours to a commie shop to but a che shirt.

BUT.....
My mom has a friend in Ukraine, So my mom would get her to buy a che teeshirt and we'd send the money, and shed send it over.

Thats probably the closest thing i could buy that supports an ex-communist nation. And the country is still full of people who believe in Communism

A fan of Che's? Hes not a movie star.

And I doubt that Che would like his face on so many things regardless of wether you know who he is or not. He didnt like to be above the crowd and he didnt like to be treated as something special. So I doubt Che would like it if his face would be sold.

William Wallace was a butcher, he killed Women, Children, 100's of civilians
i don't want this to branch off into a raging debate, digging up 100's of years gone by about the fact if Edward II (he was even worse) had a right to the Scottish throne, but Wallace was a f-cking butcher, I'm English, half of my Family is Scottish, they wont take the fact he was a butcher. No National Hero.

wallace was not a butcher
ive studied him for quite sometime
he only took place in 3 life changing battles
Falkirk, Stirling and theres 1 more i forget
and none of those were even in a town.
He may have killed some people but so did che

I don't like the idea of splashing ernesto rafael's face all over myself to be honest, but then I'm odd like that. To me it seems silly to idolise others like that. Do not put people on a pedestal - if you want to memorise Ché then do so in the way he would've respected - get out there and help in the revolution.

Wearing Che stuff always gets people asking questions, to you or to themselves. I think this is a good thing. THen the people do research/ask you to discover more. I found out about che from my history teacher, who is bigtime marxist.

If they merchandise was bought from GAP or something like that, then it is an abomination and should be destroyed.

I think that beleivers in comminsm/socialism, and everything else that che sybolizes need something to show their true side! Make sure you order it from this site or another that you KNOW is not profiting off you.

I think its okay to buy che merchandise ONLY if you know about him and know what he did. Che isn't a fashion statement, he's a hero.

I remember hearing that an American reporter came to interview Che and take pics. Before Che would let him, he made the reporter put down his gear and work in the sugar fields.

Thats says it al.
