I was on #che-lives the other day and someone asked me if I was a market communist?

Anybody have any info on what this exactly is?

I researched a bit and found an article that talks about how, for example, the executives of a corporation could only make four times the salary of the lowest paid employee.

I'm not sure if I think that would work but it is an intriguing mix of communism and capitalism.

I've never actually heard the term "market communism" before though I call myself a "market socialist" sometimes. I'll link you up with some shit when I have more time.

It is exactly nonsense if you have read K.Marx's & F. Engels's works carefully.

There is, as far as I know, no such thing as Market Communism.

There is however, such a thing as Market Socialism.

The market socialism is CAPITALISM. I picture capitalism as an imaginary scale where the right-hand end denotes the capitalism deprived of any social policy for the benefit of working class. The left-hand end of this scale denotes social taxes which eat up all surplus value of capitalists. If to add to the picture the orthogonal scale where the bottom denotes petty bourgeoisie and accordingly the top denotes the high level of monopoly.
How these capitalism's work? The "right-hand bottom" capitalism is the most dynamic developing but the working class grows poor. The "left-hand bottom" capitalism develops slowly or it could decrease. The working class in it could be wealthy for a while.

The "right-hand top" ( monopolistic) capitalism does not develop too but "skims the cream" off milk and get the people poorer. The "left-hand top" capitalism is the Monopolistic State Capitalism (with the only owner) which is not able for developing of economy and leads to destitution of working class too (the Stalin's or mr. During's regime).

Which do people choose on this field? I think they choose the "Gold middle" which meanes moderate social democracy.

What is the perspective for development forward of the social - democratic society? All four corners surrounded the "Gold middle" are unstable though they are attractive for different groups of the people.
