I dound it extremely hypocrtitical - talking about environmental plans when bush is ok with drilling in alaska and going back on his factory emissions campaign promise.

Yeah, Bush likes to say stuff that he's going to do for the environment and then go off the next day in his pickup and mow down some Elk. The Fucker.

I've never met a politician who didn't claim to know the cure for any and all environmental, economic, educational problems and more that our society faces. They all claim the same exact bullshit. It's how they back up their claims that reveals their character.

I took a lot of notes on it, I'll post later as to the hipocrisy and lies he stated.

An accurate paraphrase.

I agree sort of in a way with Peaccenicked here. We feel (the nationalists do, I'm against this nation 100%) that we are the strongest nation. But by strongest I think they mean to say that in the way of integrity and and through endurance, intelligence, etc. Not by the the type of government or how much money thats going through it. Again, the U$ nationalists are wrong. We have tons and tons of nationalism but that's not a positive thing and doesn't make the nation any more "stronger." Maybe a lot more idiotic.
So, using the true meaning of "the strongest nation," I'm going to now state that Cuba is the strongest nation, both in integrity and in morals, on the planet. Of course it's a matter of opinion but saying that U$A is not a strong nation is just fact.

Ok, since Bush is just a goddamn joke, his speech would have to follow suit. Not only did he mention 3 countries by name as the "axis of evil," he gave no proof of this claim. The speech was just bandwagoning in the worst way. Look back at the Monroe doctorine and the Prague spring for other examples of "us vs. them nationalism" It's sickening. And he never mentioned Enron, which would lead one to believe that his role in it is bigger than anyone could have thought. One more thing before I go, did anyone notice that bi-partisan ship got in the middle of traditional democratic thought? I mean, even democrats encouraged the escalation of the war and his energy and environmental plans. Pretty soon, only one party will exist, and we will be powerless to get any change.

Bush's denunciation of Iran and Iraq as part of an "axis of evil" was highly imflammatory - nothing short of a declaration of war.
Apart from the langauge, what is the difference b/t Bush speech and the video tapes of Osama bin Laden that have been released?
