Incentive to work under capitalism

To many tims in the communist v capitalist debate the right wingers say that undr capitalism, there is more incentive to work since the free competion, but i know no workers who are so keen to work to better there employess busines espically in big coporations.

All the workers i know are only working for two reason, 1) to pay the taxes 2) to get pissed on the weekend. NO one gives a fuck about hte buisness.

This will most likely be the same under socialism and it proably wont change, i doubt people will be saying they are working to help better society. Maybe with the workers having mor power they may see the actions benefit people. *Maybe the incecntive will be more.*

So anyway were did everyonme get the idea that people would want to work to help a company get more money which wont be spent on them. Ridicalous

yea sometimes people just want to enjoy life, get drunk on fridays and wake up to a girl you dont even know on Saturdays :)

I know I'm not going to get a promotion if I work harder.

Moreover, the 'one size fits all' nature of the wages I'm paid allows people doing varying amounts of substantial work to be paid the same amount of cash.

In a sense, I can 'get away' with working with less effort than others on the same pay, I have no loyalty to the company either.

I have no incentive to work hard under capitalism, I'm sure there's many others who don't either. In fact, the 'system' encourages me to do as little work as I realistically can.

I think that the what capitalists call "working hard" is just managing well one's money.
