"Cock it!"

Best Zombie movie ever, it was like a feature lengthed "Spaced" Even Daisy showed up, and like spaced it payed much homage to great cinema like Resovoir dogs "Stop pointing that gun at my mum!" Yeah it was tops..

And it's one film we get to see before the yanks..

yeah it was great "we're coming to get you barbara" another cinema moment.

MiniOswald

the fella that played mike in spaced did both of danger 50,000 volts and incoming attack. they were spoof survival programmes

I do think however that the movie was very London-centric, I'm afraid a wider audience may not appreciate a lot of the in-jokes.. I'm not sure how it will do in the U$.. Just thankful to see a u.k romantic comedy that didn't feature Hugh Grant or was written by Richard Curtis or any other toffee nosed prick..

hehe, you seen love actually? I actually enjoyed just involved shutting off my brain! Had it's moments, but like every rom com was nothing special.

Danton

http://uip.co.uk/romzom/

I mentioned it a while ago in the Dawn of the dead thread but people just looked at me like I was a freak, it's a romzomcom..

Love Actually is probably my favourite rom com, has quite a cool cast. Rom Com's are always so tacky they just make you laugh and smile and feel warm inside :D

yey I saw shaun of the dead yesterday, its soooo fnny, think of it as an extended spaced episode with more blood, its surprisingly gory but i wont give anything away!
Britain-we maybe one of the most evil nations on the planet but we got good comedy

Hate Is Art
16th April 2004, 13:27

If your not english you won't know what spaced is.

not even being english will help you, from my school, amounting to about 2000 people, and out of those i know three people who have seen it, and one of which is me and the other twi i had to show so they would understand why sotd looks so good

what the hell is it?

Hate Is Art
17th April 2004, 13:23
It's a hilariously funny comedy, about a guy and girl who move into a flat together and the situations they get themselves into. Sounds abit average but it's great.

Mike or the artist, Brian i think, are great.

i thought this was a pile of shit,

dave was the fuunniest character, but being english i thought the english humour just failed this type of film, the americans would have done this one, a hell of alot better,

i never thought i would say this, but this type of humour is definately best left to the yanks

If your not english you won't know what spaced is

rehash: if you don't live in Britain and haven't smoked a bowl before you won't know what spaced is

Thats the key - it's a heavy stoner audience. I haven't seen the film yet so no spoilers please :P

cephas is a blasphemer :D
