maybe i missed this post but i dident see any posts on one of the most mainsteem communist movies relesed, REDS

the film is all about the life of John Reed, the american jurnalist that was buried in the Kremlin wall.

the movie shows nice insight into the Russian revolution.
some parts of the film where slow while others really got my stirred up and made me want charge head first into the revolution!

You should check out Reed's bio "Romantic Revolutionary". I just finished it, but I haven't seen Reds yet. Is it good ?

Definatly worth buying. For an amerikan movie it was very fair towards the Bolsheviks. It made it seem (may have been true) that the Russian poeple supported the Bolsheviks mainly because the promised the people they wouldn't have to face war and poverty.

I won't spoil it, but I am upset how it turns pseudo-romantic in the middle.

Uraban Rubble or (greg graffin if you say who you say you are)
yea, it is good but as i said before their are some slow romantic parts in the film. But they also show the revolution and the meetings of the Bolsheviks in Russia, which is very intresting. They also show what is happening in the US at the time which is also very intresting.

Where can i get Romantic Revolutionary, is it a full length book or an essay like thing?

First off, I never said I was Greg Graffin. I just posted and essay of his in Music.

But yeah, it's a full length book. Look around, it shouldn't be hard to find. If you can't I'll go look and see who the author is.
