You bothered to post a link to the PLP? Even calling them Leninist is giving them too much credit! They advocate replacing the state apparatus with an all-encompassing party. Democratic process is completely shunned. At least Leninist/Stalinists pretend to advocate democracy. :P

Yes, although I don't agree with the PLP entirely I think they are a good party.

commie kg, your statement ignores ideological struggle. Peace and democracy means the absolute victory of socialism.

Chairman Mao i was wondering what you dissagree with in relationship to the PLP. I have read alot of their material and i tend to agree with a majority of it. The reson i am asking this is because i am planing on joing their party. What are the major differences between their communist party and other communist parties? Do you think i sould join the PLP?

They want an immediate transition to full communism, but their "full communism" is a completely un-democratic state dominated by an all encompassing party. All leaders are effectively rulers for life. That's a significant break with any kind of Marxism.

They also fool about with aspirations of executing the entirety of the world's upper classes. My favorite part of their platform is the idea that everyone will simply join the party and *bang* you have communism.

Just ignore them, they don't advocate any realistic tactics for change.

The PLP is simply nonsensical to me. They seem to come out (somehow) as some type of anarcho-stalinists. I don't get it either. They love Stalin, but seem to hate North Korea. They stand for equality, democracy, and a one-party system. They support the old Soviet Union, but believe that North Korea is "fascism under a red star".
