Yeah, I just watched his DVD "Raw Feed" and oh man, his political sensibilities have swung violently to the right. He used to be a Libertarian with left-leaning political sensibilities, but now he's a Republican. A straight up Bush-supporting, imperialistic-war-supporting right-wing douchebag.

I am equally disgusted by him now. Hes challenging O'reilly for the biggest douche on TV title.

I always hated him on Weekend Update. He's always had the most annoying style of humor ever!

Now he's a republican. <_<

Yeah, he's a douche bag.

A lot of comedians are pretty confused politically. If you ever have to a chance to watch Collin Quin's show on Comedy Central, you'll see that it's pretty fucking hard to actualy enjoy any of it because they're all talking out of their asses. They're zionists, openly and proudly politically incorrect, chauvinists, and homophobes.

You want comedy... Watch the Daily Show.

Now that is comedy. ;)

Yes, the Daily Show is as good as it gets.

But Tough Crowd is good as well. Yes, many of their politics are annoying, but I can still enjoy the comedy. It's one of the benefits of not being an overly PC zealot.

I saw him on Leno about 5 times. Every fucking time he's on, it's always one big speech (and just by looking at him, you can tell he relishes in it). Talk about a war hawk.

I used to like Dennis Miller a long time ago when he was on HBO, but ever since he shifted to the right, he sounds like someone who needs a good kick in the ass.

Daily Show is great, the other night I saw their coverage of the Condi Rice testimony and that was hilarious.

I saw the Tough Crowd where they had a few Muslim comics going at a few Jewish comics and vice versa on the topic of the Israeli/Palestinian issue, and it was hilarious. Offensive to the max, but hilarious.

I thought that at least the left would realize that being politically incorrect is not a good thing...

Racism, sexism, nationalism, mysoginy, and anti-semitism are not comedic topics. I placed an emphasis on mysoginy because the word '*****' is thrown around alot these days. It's offensive and not a word that any true leftist should use.

The topics I mentioned are offensive. When dirrected at an oppressed group or potentially oppressed group it is incredibly offensive to me.

And perhaps they should realize that being so overly PC is not a good thing either.

Racism, sexism, nationalism, mysoginy, and anti-semitism are not comedic topics.

Then you don't understand comedy, at all.

These jokes are not designed to hurt people, they are designed to make people laugh by making fun of stereotypes. It is an incredible skill to be able to take a horrible thing like racism or war and make it funny.

I suppose you've never laughed at Richard Pryor Chris Rock or Dave Chapelle ? They have made carreers out of offensive, racially themed jokes. They take all the bullshit blacks have had to go through, and they take power over it by joking about it. They make fun of white people and black people equally, and there is nothing wrong with that.

I've said it before Victor, you don't understand comedy at all. These jokes are not being made to alienate people and make them feel bad, they are a way to embrace our differences and laugh at stupid stereotypes. When someone makes a racial joke, it is usually designed to make fun of the very stereotypes that they are joking about.

When dirrected at an oppressed group or potentially oppressed group it is incredibly offensive to me.

You need to make a distinction between "laughing with" and "laughing at". Some people that are in shitty situations have the ability to maintain a sense of humor about it, it is a way of overcoming the things they are joking about.

Jesus, VC, don't be so uptight. Take the tampon out of your ass and go make me a pie, *****.

Just kidding. UR basically said what I was going to say. Everyone knows that the stereotypes that un-PC jokes make fun of aren't correct, so why not have fun with them?

Now quit *****ing and get back to work, *****. I hate oppressed people everywhere. Fuck Jews, Muslims, poor people, black people, Mexican people, German people, French people, and most of all people who fail to see the humor in this post. Loosen up, buddy. Sheesh.

What the fuck?
I can name every good example of British comedy on one hand...

Oppression is not something that should even be attempted to be smoothed over. It's very reactionary and you should know that.

You're incredibly self righteous. You actually have the balls he say that the people on the receiving end of this shit don't even have the right to joke about it ?

The fact that you think these jokes are to "smooth it over" proves my point that you just don't get it.

You're the one who said that they overcome their situations with comedy.

And I said nothing about folks on the receiving end.

WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE PICTURES, RASTA??

I used to like Dennis, and was pretty shocked to hear that He turned Right Wing on me. At first, I didn't believe it, as the Dennis Miller I knew (from TV) wouldn't dare do such a thing....I guess he showed his true character.

He used to be awesome (see his first few "Rants" books) but now he's a straight up douchebag. Straight up.
