This is nothing new.

What the americans can't grasp is that 90 percent of all firearms in venezuelan belong to the slums. And up to now nobody not even the army has been able to control them.

Being the slums the spearhead of Chavez's suport violent small armies performing acts of terrorism won't be able to do much against people that are born in violence. And are prepared to die for what they believe in.

Indeed. The biggest problem I see is if the masses of workers and poor get's disillusionised because the fundamental problems can't be solved under capitalism. So the revolution need to go forward and spread through Latin America.
