I've look on ANSWER's site, and a few other activist sites, I could see no hint of a May Day protest/rally at all! May Day is the biggest socialist holiday there is, and to not have some sort of large demostration for it would be a huge disappointment... There was not even a rally last year to my knowledge (in America at least). Anyone know where I could get more information?
P.S. This SHOULD be posted in practice, but since I'm restricted, that isn't possible. As the old saying goes, Mohammed does not go to the mountain, the mountain goes to Mohammed.
There will be a may day rally in Washington DC.

In order to get a reasonable amount of attendance, A.N.S.W.E.R. , the largest protest organizer that I know of, will have to put it on their site. We have less then a month to get the together, we need to get the word out FAST.

There is to be no rally in London. The main organisers have decided that there it too much apathy as to the actual political cause and the majority of 'protesters' simply want to cause trouble.
Most of the people of London could have told them that a while back...

 Too much apathy is BULLSHIT! I would think people would be more united now then ever against US imperialism. Sounds like the protest organizers are part of Blair's lackeys. I really hope there is SOMETHING for May Day, I would be extremely disappointed if everyone just went about their usual routine or celebrated "loyalty day" instead.
EDIT: Its not supposed to be so much a protest as it is a rally I believe....They have been protests as of recently, but I think a rally would be nice...

I'll try and dig up the article. I think it was in The Times, but it should be online by now.
Bear with me.

I don't know how important the group in question is, but I thought was relatively major.

I wasn't even aware that May Day would be resurrected this year. I'm up for the rally. I was disappointed after several posts in practice stated that it wouldn't be held.

O joy, you have to PAY to get the news with Times, something that CNN and everyone else on the internet is more then happy to do for you for free. Why not do the communist thing and post your name and password so we can all share an account?
EDIT: Resurrected? It should have never died in the first place! Not celebrating May Day is like a Christian not celebrating Christmas.

Firstly, it is free.........and secondly, I am not a Communist.
If you can't follow the link, go to www.timesonline.co.uk and search for 'May Day Apathy', it sould be the first article found.

It is tragic that the workers movement is so weak outwards in the US. (Even though reports I've read indicate that it is very active in the hidden)
In Gotheburg alone 2000 people go in the revolutionary Marxist-Leninist parade alone. Another 2000 in the socialdemocrats, and a couple of hundreds in the libertarian socialists, which is arranged by the syndicalists.
There is leninist and syndicalist/libertarain socialist parades in all mayor cities. Sometimes there is even an separate anarchistic.
The leftist party also has dussins of parades.
