EL CHICO ROJO
2nd April 2004, 00:30
does anyone notice there are Quite a few pro communist jokes in seinfeld
1)when elain was dating a communist and he taught Kramer about marx ad Kramer was fired because he scared away costomers by telling them that the things they were buying were made by explioted third world workers.
2) when Kramer tells his dominican cigar rollers about the cuban revolution and they hijack a plane to Cuba
does anyone see this or is it just me

Look at the character of Kramer though -- quite frankly, he is considered a nut by many characters in the show.

Comrade James is right, he does come across a loon, which is perhaps pro-capialist

It's a comedy show. They put in whatever they think is funny. I'm sure there are examples of stuff which is adverse to a classless society also.
Check this out for example:
George: I'll tell you something, if I'd own a company, my employees would love me. They'd have huge pictures of me up on the walls and in their home, like Lenin.
Jerry: How much did you wound up tipping her?
George: Oh my God, I forgot!
Jerry: Well, communism didn't work.

LOl, thats funny, i like that show, i have to remember that not everything is political, which is difficult when american things are involved.

haha. the commie kramer episode was on the other day.
Good point about the show just being a show. I too look at some things like that (simpsons, for one) and overanalyze it. Some things just don't have a political agenda.
