I saw a BBC special on the BNP and the leader,(Griffith?),last night. They were pretty much neo nazis - played SS marching songs at their parties incited racial antagonism etc.
Do these guys have much support in the UK?

I think the doco was a bit of an attempt at character assassination and could be viewed by the right as anti-white propaganda.
I kept asking myself why did they make this?
It seemed to be an attempt to link the BNP with combat18 (I think thats the name) which they did relatively convincingly.
The guy's obviously a fucken wanker and I'd love to beat his brains out but I feel the publicity given, although bad, may in fact increase his support and add fuel to the hatred these fuckheads already have.

Correct me if im wrong, but would i be right in saying that the fascists cause is nearly dead?
But having said that, we must incinerate it, through education and direct action

you would be wrong in saying that, the BNP is a growing cancer.

Yep BNP support is growing.

The Conservatives becoming inscreasingly divided and too left wing for some has drawn some former conservative voters and members towards the BNP.

They had 19% of the vote in Bradford, in November. They are concentrating on that area, around Oldham and Bradford where the riots were. Some people think that the BNP may be elected in the council elections in May. It seems strange that the fascist BNP has so much support while the Communist parties are practically nonexistant.

Just a question. If the BNP or NF won an election, would you fight them as part of a militia?

that depends on what they did while in power...

And the reason for the success of the BNP and failure of Communists is based upon the idea of nationhood.
When people get too concerned about nationality and nationalism, it divides the working class. In the UK at the moment nationalism is a deeply set idea in the british psychology, so much so that the irish have screwed their chances of socialism by adopting it's ideas heavilly.

the workers remain subdued and dividied on an international scale, because they have no class consciousnes, but instead, a national consciousnes.

I suspect that the NF would create a govenment similar to that of Nazi Germany. Maybe the BNP would be less extreme, but I'm not sure. If they won a national election, they would be sure to establish a military dictatorship over Britain. I would probably leave the country rather than fight them.

My Brother (Conservative) says he'd probably fight them.

I think I'd do the same.

i'd have to say, i'd definitely fight them to defend my country. the war against fascism is the only just war. but bnp support is growing all the time with many links to tory power, and they are using s11 as just one more propaganda hook. they are desperate for power and extremely flexible - they will use any tactics no matter how underhand. for example, they recently moved their offices to oldham (i think, or one of those unstable places near leicester) following last year's race riots. like parasites, they pray on the ignorant and disaffected, reducing perfectly natural fear and hate to a perverted ideology until they can use people like pawns for their own devious purposes. they are crudely opportunistic in their canvassing strategy, but worryingly succesful. affecting an air of respectability and authority (naturally for fascists), they concentrate their campaigns on the grass roots level, simple stuff like if someone has an insect infestation and the council won't listen to them, a bnp activist can be called out to take care of it for free. i even read last december that bnp activists were dressing up as priests and were handing out anti-islam propaganda outside church on sundays. fascists seem to accept that their entire religion is based on lies and hate, so no evil activities are too low for such people. unfortunately, there is an element of anti-capitalism (they just seem to hate everyone, including themselves i suspect, judging by the way they act they must have crushing inferiority complexes!), and if the bnp reach potential anti-capitalists, their poisonous ideas will appeal to people looking for answers, people like us. they must be exposed and scrutinised so that people can see them for what they are, it's no use relying on them to think for themselves. fascists are all too willing to let other people do the thinking for them.
