Over the past few years I have really begun to enjoy Belle and Sebastian, anyone ever heard of them?

one of my best friends is really into them... i remember her mentioning them to me but i can't even remember what type of music it is .... just not what i normally listen to (i'minto to the industrial synth-pop and punk scences).

can you remind me what type of music they play?

I really like them. I've seen them several times and they rule.

Their album covers look so much like The Smiths' album covers that it's creepy.

I've heard one or two of their songs. They seemed alright, but nothing that I would listen to on a regular basis.

they are like a pop-folk kind of ensemble.

I think they are just alright, because all of there songs sound the same.
