If the world was mixed, all are problems...

A friend of mine said she believed that if the world was mixed together then all the stupid problems between countries would go away.

Any opinions?

it may solve problems between countries, but it still wouldn't solve rasism which just might develop more and more. my opinion is the main problem is not in countries, but in people and their views. everithing else are just results and consequances.

Your friend seems like a bit of a misguided teen.

It's absurd to assume that one change will solve all problems. However broad the change in hand seems to be.

By 'mixed' I assume that your friend meant mixed in a racial sense. As in blacks, whites, Indians, africans and eskimos all living together. This wouldn't in itself even solve all racial problems, it's arguable that more problems arise from multiculturalism than go away.

Moreover, a racial 'mix' does not automatically destroy all other social cleavages.

What about class, gender, age and sexuality issues?

if the world was one nation now it would be a big hell hole of oppression.

personally i don't see the problem the issues in the world will not be resolved until the sort out what made the issue, all politicians manage to do is try and remove the issue. tit for tat terrorists versus counter terrorists in turn each one kills innocent people.

No, of course not, I am just saying that mixing people is not the solution to all the world&#39;s problems.

Not all the worlds problems, but it could go a long way to solving racial problems.. Racism is ignorance, through education and intergration we will eventually overcome this ignorance.. Eventually..

I can get on a bus in London and be the only Englishman, there are Russians, South Americans, Nigerians, Pakistani&#39;s etc.. I think it&#39;s wonderful and feel very lucky to live in such a cosmopolitan city..

I live in a small town near my home city in Lancashire, and even though we only have a population of about 9, 000 there is Chinese, Pakistani, Italian, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Polish and Black British people living here.

That&#39;s what i&#39;m saying. Idiotic racists don&#39;t bother to learn (nor do they care) about other people and their culture. If there were no borders (or at least minimal borders) then the world would really be a brighter, more intelligent place.
