organizations/dem in Texas

despite ive got a pretty good knowledge on world affairs, I havnt started 2 get active till recently. I just moved back to Texas, so i'm wondering if any1 knows of any activist groups in the San Antonio, Austin area

If not some helpful suggestions on how to gather support for a Group of my own, i've been meaning to start one up here in San Antonio

I go to school near Austin...I don't really have the time to do anything major though I am active in the Progressive student org we have here.

One Austin-area organization I know about and like is Third Coast Activist network.
