THE NOOSEPAPER IS COMPLETE!

It has been MONTHS in the making, with the combined efforts of many many people from all over the world, some carefully compiling the layout, some writing articles and stories ready for being published and some (me) almost going insane trying to install software, scripts and then fixing them and then linking them all together.

The result is a site that FUCKING OWNZ. I don't mean to be boastfull here, but after such a huge amount of dedication and time that has been put into this project, the pay off is a professional and feature-loaded site that looks awesome and provides the perfect foundations for the community we hope to build on it.

Ok so, if your reading this, you might not know what The Noosepaper is. Basically, it is a community for anyone between mild-left wingism to hardcore anarchy, where poeple submit news stories from time to time with first hand information, providing a non-biased news source from people who are experiancing the events here and now. Well, thats the main section, the site is in fact split into 3 layers. The second is the Archives. This is the home of the articles, the polls and surveys and soon much more; it is built on PHP-Nuke with a good load of hacking and modding to make it work with the rest of the site, we want member to submit articles about ANYTHING remotely related to politics or current events so that a huge databse of content can be built up, something no other site of this kind has amanged to pull off efectively. Anyways, the final section is the forum, which is like this place, you can talk about the site, the news, the world, philosophy, whatever, and of course theres a forum or two for unrelated chat where we hope people can develop friends etc. and forge a strong community.

Your probably sitting there, mildly interested, and heres not much I can actually say to convince you to check it out. But trust us staffers, we spent so much time on this baby and it has all paid off, we have bonds forming with some huge sites similar to us and the potential The Noosepaper could reach is balistic, all we need is for you to come down, check it out and hopefully get hooked.

You should have a picture of a noose somewhere.
Perhaps one around Bush's neck
That might blow your "non-biased" thing you've got going, however.

Cool site.
Malte, perhaps you should be a sponsor, eh?

Raise The Fist is now back online, though it is still unclear as to why it was down. Any information any visitors or members might have is still very much appreciated.

Raisethefist is still down... See -_-; (http://www.raisethefist.com)

I added a comment to one article or news story or something the other day, and now I cannot even find the story anymore. I think the site still needs some work, in layout, etc. But it is very impressive, and I hope it does well... I will continue to visit.

Glad you will stick around! :D

Recently hthe site has seen an explosion in interest, so it's an exciting tim ena dyour still all welcome, and we still need reporters!

PS: You mean the comment is gone or the story is? We only have about 5 stories shown on the front page and the rest are in the archives accesible in the nav bar. We recently got about 4 new reporters and we are all getting more and more active so old stories are getting pushed into the archive pretty quick.
