I just finished reading Ilich Ramirez Sanchez' (aka Carlos) book L'islam Revolutionarie. There's almost nothing that I could disagree in this book since I am already a Muslim, but his speeches about Saddam and Bin Ladin made me cease to care for his concept of struggle. Just wondering what you think about Carlos and his book

I haven't read this book, could you describe some of it and maybe put some quotes here. What were his speeches about Saddam Hussein and Bin Ladenthat made you dislike him?

yes, what the above poster said. Hopefully he wasn't advocating terrorism and violence against undeserving people.

actually he doesn't gratifies them in the book. in the introduction, the translator has given some quotes that are suspectful leaning upon his ex-wife's explanations. but if they're true, Carlos praises Saddam telling ''He's a wise leader but made some mistakes tactically.I would fight under his order as a simple soldier''

I'll check out again and present clearly

Bin Laden sees Saddam as a traitor to Islam, so his view is a bit inconsistent with Bin Laden's.
