Being Scottish myself I thought the letter was excelent, and deals with the confusion shown by many at the top of the SSP who have illusions in nationalism as something progressive and working class.

I read it... a bit long for how late (or, early, I suppose) it is, but good nonetheless. I don't know enough about Scottish politics and history to get out of it all which I think there is to be gotten, but good either way. I'll need to sleep on it and let the ideas bop around in my head before I can make any decent comments about it. I'll check back within a day or two.
