Again, this does not include an other option, because I'm trying to find out who is the most popular drummer of rock among che-livers, a result that couldn't be represented if most votes were other.
:)
Vote, please... for the revolution.

More gaping holes and dubious choices.
That said, Keith Moon because he was a rock n roll drumer. So was Bonzo but I like Keith Moon.

I agree.
All of the drummers I chose are good, but I tried to deliberately chose what I think would be popular at che-lives.
I could have chosen who i thought were the best drummers, but probably few folks here would have liked that.

Why didn't you vote?
You are a traitor to revolution, you reactionary shit!
:P
just kiding, man.
Are you a leftist, by the way?
Just wondering, because this a leftist site and all... =D

Danny Carey. I like Tim Alexander as well, and his style is almost identical to Carey's.

I voted for tool cus that's the only band who's drums I could think of. I didn't really like the options.
If Travis from Blink 182 was an option I probably would've voted for him. Hey, just cus the other members have no talent doesn't mean he doesn't. What the hell do I know about drummers though.

Vote, please... for the revolution.
Gladly!

Keith Moon of course..More for his outrageous shenanigans than actual technical drumming, but of course no Rock drummer can compare with your Jazz and Funk greats..

You would say that John Frusciante is the best guitar player, Flea is the best bass player, and Anthony Kiedis is the best singer, right? There are other bands out there, you know?

Anyway, I voted Mitch Mitchel. Keith Moon and Bonzo are also great.

Chad Smith (from RHCP, correct) and Joey Jordison are both pretty good. I considetred them, but I really think neither are up there with the best guys on my list.
Some guys may have been left out for other guys who I didn't really think deserved it, but I knew would get a popular response.

Actually I have posted outside the music forum at least once. But I think there have also been some topics in music that touched on both.

duh. Chili's are my favorite so call me biased. When I find a better band i'll let you know.
And yes, I have tons of other stuff but my preference is peppers.

I've yet to see a greatest vocalist poll.

I've yet to see a greatest vocalist poll.

Yes, and after that let's have a best rythym giutar poll, then a best cowbell poll, then a best guitar tech poll, then a best roadie poll.

Also, I find it kind of odd that Victor only puts classic rock bands in his polls, and they're usually the same ones. There is more to music than 70's rock.

you took my message out of context. I'm saying if i saw a greatest vocalist poll, of course i'd vote for the Chili's leadman. After all, you do vote for your favorite bands.

I know, I was just joking. I just think there are alot of polls, they seem a bit pointless. No big deal though, I ain't mad at ya (Victor).

No I don't.

Dr. Rosenpenis

I put the best musicians in my polls.
And that includes many contemporary musicians.
And in each of the polls I made I was referring to rock.
I made a jazz drummers poll before that nobody participated in except about 3 people.

According to any music fan, the guys I listed are really the best. It isn't my fault that many are from the 70s and belonged to the same bands. :P

look up a best drummers, guitarists, or bassists list on the internet. I'll bet you that the guys I chose are all on there.

mine is Neil Peart from Rush, but of course you didnt include him lol

Dr. Rosenpenis
27th March 2004, 01:25
I totally agree with you, JC.
Neil Peart is probably better than most of the guys I listed, I just thought he wouldn't be a very popular choice.
But good choice, nonetheless.

His stuff was just awesome!

He's very overrated.

Dr. Rosenpenis
27th March 2004, 16:55
If we could about 100 choices in the poll, I might have included Ringo. :P
