At the protest on saturday picked I picked up a copy of the first edition of Earth First's action guide. It explains how to block roads, make human barricades, and destroy weapons of ecological destruction.

It's very...um...intellectualy stimulating ;)

Sounds interesting.

What is funny: Earth First made the book, yet wasn't it wrote on paper? Go figure.

The inside cover says it was recycled. The book wasn't published by a huge, mass production style press(very pollutant). It was put together by hand.

...from the Dirty Commie over there in row 3. He's got the 'recycled' hardbacks on sale for $76.99. ;)

Really though. What is this environmentalist cookbook of which you speak?

Edit: Damnit, I just wasted post number 500 on this mesely peice of recycling. I was my 5 cent refund!

It's all about how to block traffic, stop trees from being cut down, making human barricades, and blocking bridges.

The only problem is that everything in the book has the risk of dying is the rope is cut, the brach snaps, or some logger decides to chop down the tree you're sitting in.

I learned how to block traffic on a highway for miles from it :D

Ask around environmentalists from groups like like Earth First, Greenpeace, etc. they might be able to get you a copy.
