The Un-Official MM Argument Thread

What we've all been hoping and praying for. The (un)Official argument thread.

I've noticed that anywhere MM posts, something goes awry. So for here on out, whenever you see anyone (including myself) arguing with MM, or MM arguing with someone else which has nothing to do with the topic at hand, send them/us here.

I think the time was needed in which all arguements for/against MM stay in one place, and one place only. Lately just about every single post in which MM posts in, he is disputed (almost always rightfully so; that's beside the point) down to his last dying word.

Discussing the topic at hand in a thread is fine. However when things get off topic, and become accusations/personal debates/attacks/name-calling etc.; we needed a place for these arguments to take place without leading the original theme of the thread off topic.

If someone finds this thread unnecesary, feel free to delete it. I just felt that there should be a designated place for this 'grudge match' to go down, instead of disturbing other topics.

I'll start out by giving Mr. MM a chance to explain himself.

First off though:


MM. I have come up with some steps for you.

Step 1: Slap Yourself (hard)

Step 2: Step back for a minute, and in your mind think you are someone else.

Step 3: Go back and re-read all of your posts under 'abortion', 'sexual liberation', and 'what the hell'.

Step 4: Thinking as someone else, look at how you have made yourself come across. (homophobic, male chauvinist)

Step 5: If you cannot see this; goto steps 5a and 5b. If you can see this, then admit what you did was wrong, and apologize.

Step 5a: Slap yourself

Step 5b: Slap yourself again, then repeat Steps 1-5. Continue until accomplished.

I asked Dr. Phil on email, he reccomended this procedure. ;)

Has this procedure helped at all yet? Or are you still repeating the steps until you've figured out your situation?

How are you not homophobic? Your comments sure as hell resemble that of a homophobe.

Wishing TAT gets AIDS. What is up with that one? Your starting to sound like Michael Savage on Conservative talk radio.

So your a homophobe (meaning you probably would not be gay?), and you generate no respect for women. What exactly do you consider yourself? I mean, where do you see yourself in say 5-10-20 years? Married to a dog? I mean, not to provoke personal attacks. Honestly though. You show no interest for females. You claim your not homosexual. So where does Mr. IgnorantMM fall under?

How do you consider yourself on the left side of the political spectrum?

You think we should quarantine people with AIDS? I still think that if this is the case, why not quarantine those with a cold? :blink: Many more people die each year in the US from cold related illnesses than from anything relating to AIDS. Yet we should quarentine those with AIDS?

You think woman should be treated with respect? (*Chokes on drink, spits on keyboard*). Explain how you have portrayed that you think woman should have respect. (Oh, ok. A women that wants an abortion should have to hold onto their pre-born child only because the father wants it? :blink:

These are just some. I'm sure others may have something else to ask. And have you figured out the things you've said are morally wrong, and do you understand now why you are restricted?

Of course I can't leave your opinions out either, so feel free to ask other people things also. Hey, this is an MM argument thread, so feel free to voice your own opinions. ;)

I assure you, TAT's claims that I am homophobic are false. I believe gays deserve equal rights as everyone else, however I also understand that some people might not take kindly to people trying to encourage them to sit with their friends naked and talk about masterbation. I do in fact respect women, but unlike you, I also respect the rights of men, something that I think many people here have completely neglected. I regard men and women as equals. Other opinions of mine regarding sex....
1. End sexual segregation of restrooms and other facilities.
2. Women should have to register for the draft the same way that men do, and they should be held to the same expectations of men as well. They should also be made to fight in front line combat positions along side men should we be in a time of war. (Though I am generally pacifist, I do acknoledge that war is sometimes necessary).
3. End any other forms of sexual segregation. I view any discrimination based on sex the same way most of us view discrimination based on race.

So I guess are far as the gender thing goes, it can be said that I advocate something like "tough love".
Equal rights for women, weather they like it or not!

If quarantining people who have the common cold can reduce the spread of the disease and perhaps save lives, then by all means, quarantine to your hearts content. The good of society before the individual is one of my fundamental beliefs.

Well, I won't get too deep into this shit pile, but I will say this. I don't appreciate being told I am a lazy animal because I smoke some dried up plant after work. I work 50 hours a week, and you think I am harming society by having a joint ?
