I'm doing a project for an english class, I need to make a poster of pictures that show examples of the american dream. I think this would make an awesome political statement: a collage of pictures showing what it really is.
I was thinking of this one, it was a billboard and said "Lawsuits: The American Dream". that would be perfect. If anybody else can help me gather pictures like that, i'd be very appreciative. It's due tommorow.
Thanks comrades

"The American Dream: Living with the Knowledge that you are Free"
Then a picture of a mushroom cloud, or American soldiers pushing around Iraqis or something like that.
"At the cost of who?"

The American Dream:
American Dream
An American attorney had just finished a guest lecture at a law school in Italy when an Italian lawyer approached him and asked, "Is it true that a person can fall down on a sidewalk in your county and then sue the landowners for lots of money?"
Told that it was true, the lawyer turned to his partner and started speaking rapidly in Italian. When they stopped, the American attorney asked if they wanted to go to America to practice law.
"No, no," one replied. "We want to go to America and fall down on sidewalks."
Pictures: Could someone explain to me how to post numerous pictures in the same post. Until then, here goes.

Nice, AQ. I can't add much more than that.
You know, obesity is considered an "epidemic" in America these days. If anyone ever needed proof of American greed (I'm an American too, don't kill me), there it is. Work something about that into your project.

There was also a poster that I saw in a bookstore. I did a search on google, but couldn't remember its exact saying.
The poster went like this: It was a picture of a very luxorious house on the ocean. There was a garage full of about 5 expensive/exotic cars. And the saying was along these lines: The American Dream. Or 'Where education will get you' or something like that. It is supposed to be inspirational, but it really goes to show the morals and standards of American society. If you can find it by doing a search, I think that would be a great thing to show if you could explain the 'true' meaning behind it. Sorry I can't exactly remember it.
I also found a picture of a $100 dollar bill with Bill Gates face in place of Ben Franklin's. The thing was, it wasn't an individual picture, yet a background.
You might want to try doing a search for:
"American dream pictures/poster"
"pictures of hell"
"pictures of jail"
"Pictures of money"
You can really find some creative things that you weren't expecting to find. Here is another one I found. To bad it's Shaq holding Bill, and not your average African-American, for that could carry a lot of meaning on how this country came to be. However you could still imply it:

I found this one on a Google search. It has nothing to do with your topic, really, but I found it to be very appealing (visually) in some strange way. It's making a statement (even if it is just an ad for a band), but being none too clear on what that statement is.

Ok.
Well I've found some good pictures. Now could someone please quickly tell me how to put more than one picture on a single post. That way I do not have to post numerous posts.
The info as soon as possible would be helpful for SittingBull. Thank you.

All of these pictures are written in very fine lines under the 'American Dream'. Just goes to show you, where are our priorities in this country?
And last, but most certainly not least.
No eye for an eye. Death for a 'gun'. Aren't guns legal in this country? The real truth...
