crazy to think about....... so many countries in latin america had chances to break through and the US couldn't take it... Chile had a real chance to make something of themselves with Allende and Pinochet's U.S. supported government just threw them into the trash like they've done so often.... THAT is on reason why communism gets such a bad rep, because the U.S. puts down almost every good chance it has to succeed......

The first part I learned from Rogue State by William Blum and from a documentary called The Trials of Henry Kissinger. The second part came from analyzing the pattern in different interventions and was also kind of built up by reading Michael Parent’s analysis of American interventionism in To Kill a Nation, The Attack on Yugoslavia. The third part came again from Rogue State and also Killing Hope by the same writer.

I don’t think taking time for reading is that big of a deal; if I didn’t then I wouldn’t be posting on here.
