the study of the nature, origin, development and theory of law is known as jurisprudence. aristotle, st thomas aquinas and kant belived that the law could only be based on the law of nature established by a divine being such as a god. now natural law is in the western world set down by christian dogma, but the question is what will laws of society be bassed on in a socialist nation? will we have a concept of natural law?
