Guardian interview (http://observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,6903,1168937,00.html)

They also survived a massacre of thousands of prisoners by U.S. clients in Afghanistan...

I think this is well worth reading, as so little information seeps out of Guantanamo, Bagram and other parts of the "war on terrorism" gulag.

the U$A are the real terrorists. stupid fuckers. just see, next time there is a 9/11 in america they will complain "why do they hate us so much?"; "what did we ever do to them?".

you reap what you fucking sow.

Thats an interesting article. Burning them in the containers is most sickening. Its ridiculous how the Americans are ready to prosecute people for war crimes considering the stories of the Guantanamo prisoners.

An interesting article.

If it's all true, my opinion of the U.S. has gone down even further.

I got the impression from the article that many of the U.S. soldiers knew all along that these people were probably innocent, if only due to the use of falsified evidence to extract a confession.

I can't imagine what 2 years in Guantanamo bay has done to the released prisoners, I just hope that all the others there are released soon, or at least given a fair trial.

I think we should still believe in the principle of "innocent until proven guilty"

Well, they deserved it. I mean, look at the facts:
1. They look different from me
2. They might've been connected with something very bad.

...Goddammit I hate our government.

One is reminded of concentration camp conditions and yet UN inspectors looked away. They knew conditions were borderline concentration camp, only the pits were kept safely in the host countries as to avert suspicion, but the grueling intergation sessions are Nazi all the way. If a holocast survivor were to enter the camp be he or she Jewish, Gypsy, Polish, etc. they would vomit from the similarities. Yet this is done in the name of justice.

Whenever you treat people in this way you walk away from the halls of justice. I was once jailed in Bergen County, New Jersey outside of Manhattan for a day until I was found innocent and released. That prison was almost as bad, it was Feb in NJ and cold as hell, yet due to overcrowding prisoners were living in tents. You had to work your way up to a cell. As a new person I initially was given a bed on the floor in a cell, but had to give it to someone who had senority, still everyone was very kind. Mostly minority women with children who had been stealing or dealing to pay the bills. The women's area was less crowded we slept metal courtyard, concrete floor 24 hour lights under worn grey scratchy blankets. Somehow I don't think Martha Stewart will be going there, but a black woman in Newark NJ who writes a bad check to starve off the landlard will be.
