I believe someone could be, due to psychological circumstances.
I think Michael Jackson is asexual.

There is NO POSSIBLE WAY Michael Jackson is asexual. There is a little boy willing to testify to he contrary (multiple little boys, actually).

Big deal. There are multiple big boys and girls willing to testify that McDonalds made them fat.
Michael Jackson also released an album a few days after the news about him broke. The ads were on TV a few days later, but I'm sure those ads take longer than that to produce.

Well, I would say Mr. Miller is asexual, he's past 60 and is unmarried and shows no interest in anyone what-so-ever. I think that you would not descipe such people as asexual though, but merely anti-social.

Mr. Miller clearly violates himself on a daily basis.

Life must suck being asexual. Not being able to enjoy sex with any partner! I'd shoot myself.

The suicide rate is much higher for people without sexual organs. Especially for men.

:) True, never even thought of that. Maybe it doesn't even bother them at all.

I'd do Mr Miller....just for the sheer comedy value.
I met someone who claimed to be asexual, but I think that's because they didnt want to sleep with me. Some people might just get bored of sex or might just not want it. It seems strange that this could be the case but I certain, out of the 6 billion people in the world there was to be at least on person who is asexual.

No. I dont even think that's possible is it?
:) It's a term called "Asexual Reproduction". It's used to refer to plants not humans that reproduce without need of another partner.

Let's clear up some stuff here...
Is it possible and have any of you ever heard of such a case?
Yes, there are many cases of psychological disorders that lead to asexualism. They are called "sexual aversion disorders" and most definitely can lead the patient into an "asexual" classification.
It's a term called "Asexual Reproduction". It's used to refer to plants not humans that reproduce without need of another partner.
No. The classifications of asexual reproduction in animals are as follows;
Fragmentation
Budding
Parthenogenesis
Many people are living without any sexual organs.
I would not consider someone without any "sexual" organs to be "asexual". The most accepted difinition of asexual means "no desire to have sex" however "having no distinct sex" is also included. There are many other characteristics that give an individual a "sex", most important is the individual's genetic makeup.
Having no sexual organs to speak of would be classified more appropriately as "unlucky" rather than as "asexual".

i don't think so, but it can be accomplished... i mean if someone wants to do that and live their life like that then it can be done but just out of no where then i doubt it... i mean our bodies have proteins meaning enzymes that at some point bubble up and then girls get their monthleis and dudes start growing... maybe if you took someone's petuatary gland and trew it away...

They can't be just uninterested in sex, they have to be completely unattracted to anyone. As in, never turned on by anyone.
I'm pretty sure Mr. Miller masturbates, it's in his eyes. So no, that doesn't count.
MiDnIgHtMaRaUdEr
16th March 2004, 10:48
Well, asexual can be described as fucking yourself, so I guess Mr. Miller is still a likely candidate.

Well, being unattracted to anyone is really the same thing as being uninterested in sex don't you think? If you are uninterested in sex, then you will not be "attracted" to anyone.
"sexual" is part of the word "asexual" for a reason.
Well, asexual can be described as fucking yourself, so I guess Mr. Miller is still a likely candidate.
Really. Perhaps you would like to describe it then. Once that description is finished perhaps you can show how it applies to someone that is considered "asexual".
Where do you get this crap from mate?

A-sex-u-al
1. Not sexual.
2. Having no sex or sexual organs.
3. Independent of sexual processes
Mr. Miller can conducts himself independently.
Vinny Rafarino
16th March 2004, 20:11
Independent of sexual processes means;
To be independent (as in not included) of sexual processes. This does not mean "fucking yourself".
It means (again) that the individual has no desire to have sex. (sexual aversion disorder)
Think a little deeper.
P.S.
MM, people respect those that can admit when they are wrong. I understand you are just a teen and feel some sort of "loss if pride" when you are wrong but a time comes when you need to succomb to the fact that if most people think you are wrong, then that usually means you are more than likely WRONG.
Either that or you suffer from an emotional or neuro-chemical disorder that prevents you from understanding that you are delusional.
Question, have you been to a psychiatrist before?
I know it hurts son....trust me, you will feel better.

Well, there is still a possibility that Mr. Miller is in fact, an ice crotch. He can recite e and pi to a few hundred places and knows all the useless facts about obscure mathmeticians that you could possibly want to know and more. Weather he has a hardon for dead mathmeticans opens a whole new possibility, but I am sure we could go on for hours theorizing about Mr. Miller's sex life and get nowhere.

It is NOT possible in humans, same plant reproduce asexually, cant remember what else.

Well, a human cannot reproduce without sex... So if you are looking at it from a purely biological view, then no, its not possible for someone to be asexual. However, if you are looking at it from a pyschological view, then perhaps it is still debateable.

As was mentioned before, this is not about one-celled organisms reproducing asexually. This is another context of asexuality. Same word, different meaning.
Oh yeah, and plants don't reproduce asexually, they have male and female "organs". Asexual reproduction involves a single organism reproducing on its own, whereas plants reproduce by passing pollen to other plants. Kinda like we do, with semen.

That is not true. Artificial insemination is sexless reproduction in humans. Perhaps we should add this to budding, fragmentation and parthenogenesis.

Exactly.

Right, I didn't think about that one. Well, I was wrong, but was I right in considering pollenation a form of sexual reproduction?
I'm a social science student, so I know I can be wrong about all this.

17th March 2004, 19:34
yes this is true, multi-celled organizams can also reproduce asexually, rare but possible! There is some type of lizard or gecko, that is only female and reproduces by itself somehow, and a variety of plants as well!
However, the only way that I could become asexual is if louraina bobit payed me a visit and cut my jimmy off :)

Hmmmm....i totally disagree with this on two levels.
The first being that IF MJ has done anything with little boys, it has nothing to do with sex. It has to do more with power and control-two things that he may have lacked in life because of his father/family life.
Second, i agree with cani. I really do think MJ is asexual. I dont think he is attracted to womyn or men. This maybe can be attributed to his immaturity. The guy sadly has the mentality of a child and is probably afraid of intimacy and whatnot.

Human beings are sexual by nature. Put it this way all of us can be attacked by a sexual predator, { I wish it on no one} What I am saying is that is an objevtive fact that human beings have sexuality.
Asexual(ness) is really for inanimate objects though there is more sexual aids than I dare to imagine. Asexuality might be used as a synomyn for celebacy. Though that may not be a strictly accurate use of the word.
A meaning of a word is sometimes set in its context.
And my final thought is. Who is to say that androgyny is not a form of sexuality and there is not such a thing as sexy robots.
Its just that I fancy 7 of 9 (Jerry Ryan)

Worms are hermaphrodites, they have male and female reproductive organs.
Michael Jackson has had children with people, but who knows that wasn't artificial insemination? Not me, and who cares? I don't know.
I know that whoever Michael had his latest child with is not a pat of his life, and he said in that documentry that he didn't feel attraction towards her.
